We are looking for families to photograph for new B&W Studio displays between September-November. The portrait session is completely complimentary and, as a thank you, we will have a $100 gift certificate for you to use towards a portrait purchase. 

Once you submit the application, our Studio will be in touch within 48 hours to review the details and, if it's a good fit, to schedule your session. We will only contact selected families twice. If we do not hear back from you at that time, we will select an alternate family. If you would like to create heirloom quality portraits with her family in time for the holidays, please fill out the information, read our FAQ's below and we will be in touch soon! Thank you.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?
All those who participate will receive a COMPLIMENTARY photography session at our award-winning luxury Studio in Lockhart. Participants also receive a $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE to apply towards a portrait purchase. (Total value $850.) 

Each participating family may also have one of their portraits selected and displayed inside the Studio Gallery.

NO OBLIGATION TO PURCHASE
There is no obligation to purchase, but you'll have a fun and special separate appointment look at your B&W family portraits during a "Zoom" on-line viewing and ordering session 1 week after your portrait sitting. As a guide, artwork begins at $495. Most clients spend $1500 and upwards on their finished art pieces and digital negatives.

WHERE IS THE STUDIO LOCATED?
Jennifer Lindberg Studio located at 103 E. San Antonio Street, Lockhart, TX 78644 (Lockhart is 29 miles from Austin and 65 miles from San Antonio.) Lockhart is a picturesque small town that is world-famous for its BBQ and known for its beautiful historic architecture. 

WHY ARE YOU OFFERING THESE SESSIONS? 
We are now booking limited dates in September, October and November. Many families tell us that they have grown closer during this stressful pandemic time and our goal is to capture that closeness as a special way to support and celebrate families. Many moms also tell us over and over that they are not in photographs with their children enough! This is a unique opportunity to take heirloom quality portraits with your children.

CAN I INVITE MY PARENTS TO COME AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes! Jenn & Jim will be happy to photograph your whole family at no extra cost. Please bring the Grandparents! That is so special.

HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION DATE AND TIME?
 Sessions are booked after a scheduled phone call to quickly go over all of the details. Once you fill out our application form, we'll review it and reach out to you by text and e-mail. Sessions are taking place on a first come, first served basis until these  openings are fully booked. A $200 fully refundable reservation deposit secures your date on the Studio's calendar. 

HOW ARE YOU ADDRESSING COVID?
The safety and well being of your family is taken very seriously. The Studio's photography team is fully vaccinated and wears masks during your session. In addition, sessions are scheduled with dedicated time to deep clean in between clients. 

HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP THE PORTRAITS?
We store and archive everything our clients love enough to order for one year. We are not able to maintain and store unordered portraits without a prepaid archiving fee.

HOW LONG WILL OUR PHOTO SESSION LAST?
A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on number of people in the family and number of outfits worn.

JL Studio is an in-demand, luxury portrait studio that limits the number of appointments accepted based on our team's capacity to create bespoke portraits and stunning pieces of art for our clients from all over Texas.  Weekends are currently booked out several months in advance.

If you have received a complimentary session with us, your reservation fee helps to prevent no-shows and last minute cancellations, which allows the Studio to serve all of its clients with dedication and at the highest levels of service.

Your reservation fee is fully refunded on the day of your Zoom reveal session as long as you are present for your appointments. You may choose instead to apply the fee as a credit towards an artwork purchase at that time. There is no obligation to purchase.

What happens if I need to reschedule?
 If you must reschedule, please provide 7 days or more notice so that another family may be scheduled and we will then be able to rebook you on the Studio's calendar. **Please note, weekends are currently booked out 3 months in advance as of this writing so rescheduling to a weekend date may not be possible

Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice requires an additional reservation fee as we are unable to fill openings with such short notice of cancelation.

If you are able to cancel with 48 hours or more notice, we offer our clients a one time option to transfer your reservation fee to any currently available weekday dates.

Rescheduling more than once without paying a non-refundable additional reservation fee is not possible at this time. Additional reservation fees, while non-refundable, may be applied in full to any order.

Terms and Conditions:

1. A $150-$200 fee secures portrait session for the date/time agreed upon.

2. Reservation fee is 100% refundable for the cancellation of a session within the first 48 hours of payment, no questions asked. 

3. If you fully cancel the portrait session after the 48 hours window, the reservation fee is automatically converted into a studio credit, valid for one  year.

4. If you provide 7 days or more advance notice by calling 512-522-8724, your reservation fee is automatically transferred to secure a new date for one occurrence. While we will do our utmost to accommodate your schedule, please note that weekends are typically booked months in advance, making second session dates frequently available only  on weekdays.

If you must cancel and provide 48 hours notice or more, we offer a one time option to reschedule on the Studio's available weekday dates. If you cancel or request to reschedule your session with less than 48 hours notice, your reservation fee is non-refundable as we cannot fill your session spot with another family with so little notice.

5. Any more than a 20 minute appointment “late show” is automatically canceled as there will not be enough time to create your portraits and no refunds are available.
