WHAT DO I RECEIVE?
A session with your dog(s) by the award-winning Jennifer Lindberg Studio portrait artist at their luxury studio in Lockhart. All participants will receive a completely COMPLIMENTARY B&W Studio Photography session and an additional $100 GIFT CERTIFICATE to use towards a portrait purchase to say "thank you." (Value of $850) A portion of orders will also be donated to APA! at the conclusion of the project.
A portrait of your dog or of you and your Dog will be selected by the Studio and included in the book along with your submitted text. The book will be available to order and purchase by December 1, 2023 and the cost will range between $175-300 per book, depending on number of participants and size of book.
WHY ARE YOU OFFERING THESE SESSIONS?
Supporting great local charities and nonprofits is one way that we can give back to our community--something that our studio cares about profoundly. APA! is such a special and unique non-profit. We are proud to partner with them for this book project and to raise funds in honor of their Long Stay Dogs. With your participation, we can make sure that more dogs have a chance and get adopted AND we'll make beautiful artwork of you and your dog(s) at the same time!
HOW DO I BOOK MY SESSION DATE AND TIME?
Once you have filled out our application form, we'll review it and reach out to you by text and e-mail. Sessions are booked after a short phone call with one of our Portrait Concierges, Audra or Ryan, to go over all of the details and confirm we are a good fit. Sessions are limited and are taking place on a first come, first served basis until we reach our $15,000 fundraising goal.
A $100 non refundable participation fee goes in full to APA! and the studio also collects a $100 refundable reservation fee to secure your date on the Studio's calendar. We block out time with our studio and staff for every appointment in advance, hence the need to collect a reservation holding fee that ensures that we are booking clients who are as serious and committed as we are. As sessions are limited, we want to allow as many people to participate as possible and cancelations and no shows have a detrimental effect on reaching our 15k goal for APA! This refundable fee is returned in full as long as you attend your scheduled appointments, or can be applied towards an order, if you choose. Our Team thanks you for your kind understanding.
CAN I HAVE MY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHED?
Yes! If your family includes more than your dogs, we will be happy to photograph your whole family at no extra cost as part of your session.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
No need to worry! We'll send you ideas on what to wear and what works best in B&W and with our studio's signature style.
AM I OBLIGATED TO PURCHASE?
There is no obligation to purchase, but you'll have a fun separate Zoom appointment to look at your photographs 1 week after your photoshoot. As a guide, artwork begins at $495, while most clients spend $1500 and upwards on their finished art pieces and digital negatives. The Studio is giving a portion of orders back to APA! helping to raise funds for this remarkable organization and raising awareness of APA!'s very special Long Stay Dogs. Together we will raise $15k--and hopefully even more-- for APA! and help more dogs get homes!
HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP THE PHOTOS?
Due to storage limitations and costs, we are not able to maintain and store unordered portraits.Portraits that are not purchased are purged periodically to make room for new client archives. Thank you for your kind understanding.
HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL SHOOT LAST?
A standard session takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on number of people & dogs in the family.
